Revision Breast Surgery: Correction of Bottoming Out
This 32-year old patient from La Quinta, California was interested in revisionary breast surgery. After having breast augmentation performed by a previous surgeon, she developed scar tissue and was very unhappy with the shape, size, and malposition of her breast implants and wanted to improve her look. She needed to exchange her implants and have a capsulorrophy performed (internal sutures for better implant position).
She was looking for the best plastic surgeon in California to perform her revision breast surgery. She was referred to double board certified, Dr. Pousti by one of his previous patients. After meeting with him, she decided that he was the best plastic surgeon for her breast revision surgery.
Prior to the operation, markings are performed and the procedure of revision breast surgery (internal suturing to help with pocket correction) were discussed with the patient.

In order to achieve the look that she wanted, Dr. Pousti removed and replaced her current implants with 600cc silicone gel implants made by Mentor Corporation.
